GNOCCHI  DINNER

After Roberto boasted to some customers that he makes the best gnocchi in the world . . .
. . . he had to "get on with it" and prove it.
In keeping with the motto "Viva l'Italia", Petra . . .
. . . and Roberto set the table all in green-white-red for the fine feast.
The first guests trickle in one after another with their dogs . . .
. . . and toast each other with a glass of champagne.
Of course, it is also diligently explained . . .
. . . which dog belongs to whom . . .
. . . while Ashuna beguiles Jürg and Nancy.
The appetizer is an old recipe from the "Nonna" . . .
. . . "Pane e Vino" . . .
. . . with bread, olive oil, salt, pepper, diced tomatoes marinated in onions and ricotta.
It is seemingly delicious, as Magnus wants an entire bowl as a second helping.
The gnocchi are prepared "al dente" and combined with the "Sugo".

Magnus and Enrico: There a like-minded duo have found each other . . .
. . . and perhaps also the Chihuahua and the Dachshund will soon go walking together?
As dusk slowly falls, there is still the dessert . . .
. . . homemade Profiteroli, with a choice of vanilla or chocolate crème.
The guests are satisfied, the four-leggeds "dog-tired" and so gradually everyone goes back home
